The cloud and the incredible shrinking office • The Register

one day, cloud computing will grow up. It’ll coincided with the period in which web access becomes as reliable and ubiguitous as electricity. Until then it will not become the standard MO for most business because they won’t have the muscle to ensure they can survive the inevitable occasions on which cloud access is interrupted or the data corrupted. Think “paperless office” for previous similar predictions…
