Unprecedented domain seizure shutters 84,000 sites • The Register

this is the most blatantly illegal action I’ve yet seen taken against the Web. I presume the 84,000 domains affected will now launch a class action. Which should result in, at least, a hefty fine paid by the government to each affected domain owner. If it doesn’t, then America (and by extension the rest of the world) has just become a much less safe to exercise what passes for freedom…
